buildings with different volumes,
layers of electric cables forming the cutout sky…
To my eyes that grew up in a town made of stone,
they appeared beautifully like a painting."
"Tenukore" is a project to ensure the future enjoyment of tenugui (thin cotton washcloths), through a variety of beautifully designed tenugui by several creators.
In collaboration with stationary maker, Maruman, "The View from Scaffolding" launched in Tenukore 2010, has been selected to be part of their new collection, which is now available as a loose-leaf binder and spiral bound notebook.
